While we always are able to take pictures in our photo studio, getting outside in autumn makes for gorgeous backgrounds to your next photo session. The Homewood-Flossmoor area has many great parks and locations to offer, and we're here to capture them all.

Why Go Outside for Photos?

There's something special about outdoor photos, right? The natural light, the colors, the scenery—it all comes together to create something truly unique. And with the weather hitting that sweet spot in the 60s and 70s, it's like nature is calling us to come out and play (and maybe take some stunning photos while we're at it).

Our Go-To Scenic Spots

We're lucky to have some jaw-dropping spots around Homewood that are perfect for photo shoots. Let's take a quick tour:

INDIAN TRAILS PARK

Picture this: lush green grass, peaceful walking paths, and tall trees that whisper stories of old. Indian Trails Park is all about that timeless vibe, making it a perfect spot for capturing those genuine smiles and laughs.

IZAAK WALTON WEST

Water, bridges, and prairie grasses—oh my! Izaak Walton West offers a mix of water and land that's just the right kind of different for photos that stand out. It’s a bit like stepping into a storybook, don't you think?

GLENWOOD WOODS NORTH

If you're into a more earthy and rustic feel, Glenwood Woods North has got you covered. The oak trees offer late changing colors and the leaf-strewn ground and that gorgeous pavilion add a touch of whimsy and elegance to any photo.

IRONS OAKS

Forests, water and a gazebo—sounds like the setting for a fairy tale, right? Irons Oaks is that versatile spot where every turn offers a new backdrop, perfect for exploring and capturing a variety of shots.

DOLPHIN LAKE

Water, grass, willow trees and a patio-this amazing location has it all. Be aware, there is little shade when moving around to all the great scenic spots.

YOUR HOUSE

Familiar, personable, interiors and exteriors-Why travel when we can take pictures in your own back yard or in your living room. Note, we do not bring backdrops when photographing in your home, but rather we will photograph environmentally.

GRASSLANDS

Prairie grasses are the spot to take pictures and be one with nature. You'll be immersed in the fields. This location does not offer shade, and not great for those not a fan of touching nature.
